Roy said the past few months with Sally have been really special.  "From the moment we met in December we knew something amazing was happening and I felt I just had to ask her to marry me." More than 100 school friends, work colleagues and relatives went to the wedding and the youth leader from their formative years, Bob Clatworthy, took the service.  Roy said: "Everyone at the wedding service, be they male or female, cried.  "Bernice, the woman who found me at the scene of the accident near Hull and called for an ambulance before staying to help me, also came to the wedding.  "It was really emotional and Sally said a big thank you to her in her speech for giving me a second chance at life.  "Sally, who works at Laurel Court residential home, has my grandmother's wedding ring, which fits perfectly, and I have my grandad's signet ring.  "Married life now feels completely natural and we are both ecstatic."  Roy, the area representative for spinal injuries, said: "We were always good friends as kids and it seems we have picked up where we left off.  "Her initials at school were S.Huff and I always called her Scruff.  "I did so the first day we met again and she said her legs went to jelly.  "This is a third marriage for both of us, but I would say there is no need for the luck. It's just there."
