| In April, I took delivery of a Roltec Vision powered wheelchair from Roger Southall at RehabTeq, a company who specialise in equipment for the disabled. It's various options give me a level of comfort I didn't think was possible and with the adjustable seating position, I can control my own pressure relief and, therefore, a considerable level of independence is be achieved. |

| In July, with the combined help of Motability and Paul Harford, a partner at Vauxhall dealer Dan Harford, I took delivery of a new Vauxhall Zafira. Instead of one of the expensive adaptations offered by Brotherwood etc, I chose a lift and hoist from Autochair (to get myself and the Roltec wheelchair in and out) and this has exceeded my expectations. This has also made an incredible change to so many aspects of my life. |
